Yes, that is team manager Kathy Stessler and she is testing Bryceland's stoke with the wireless stoke-O-meter. Most of the high level teams are using these to measure athletes at key moments. The actual value isn't indicative as much as the comparison between their other measured values. Some athletes have a very small stoke ratio. Gee Atherton has a variance of 0.7 on the scale and a median value of 5.8. Others have a much larger range. Ratboy generally blows just over an 11 at the end of a run, but his low is around 2.1 so much larger range of stoke at ~ 9. Pretty high tech stuff going on out there!
