This weekend's Shimano British Downhill Series track in Llangollen was challenging for all the competitors - amateurs to elites - and even getting our crew track-side to shoot was a huge challenge. Thanks to the many riders and spectators for giving us a hand! Following treacherous conditions and limited visibility in the morning for riders, spectators and media alike, the clouds started to lift and the track started to dry out towards the end of the day.

See how the riders faired by tuning in to Pinkbike for results and the race report.

I liked a bit of it but it was a bit too slow and too long some of them. That track looks amazing though, I wish for that steepness.

Ridden this track and extended versions of it,it is the steepest gnarliest place. Many many racers have turned up seen the track and gone home, serious skills needed. Anyone thinking the uk doesn't have proper dh hasn't ridden here, awesome.

Millyard Racing frame @ 4:51. Have not seen one of those in a while. It's a shame too, as they are one of the most clever bikes made. I was hoping to see them make more bikes, but I'm guessing the difficulties of the bike industry pushed them to move on to other things.

Fortune definitely favoured the brave on that first bit with the catch guard, the guys that lined up and let go were cleaning it!

U don't need a 10k mountain bike to ride that you only need a snow board and some ski poles

i think this is one of the reasons why the uk got some of the fastest guys out there. i mean look how steep it is

I marshalled the two days and got to take my hat off to all the riders who stayed to race on Sunday. For the "Elite" it was part of the job (and they did the job) but those juniors wearing the 9 plate, well they were really brave. Stars of tomorrow some of 'em..

we definitely need more of this just raw footage.

I love riding Llangollen. The woods scare the hell out of me though. So steep it's unreal ! Just trying to do a track walk is difficult.

love these... that track looks insane!

Uncut? Plenty of cuts in there. Just call this no music and titles. Or is this a way of dancing around the fact that pinkbike is copying a certain someone elses race coverage with a well suited named audioless race coverage?

 Burly lines!! Love It!!! :-)
