It's off to Euroland and the big mountains of the Alps for the boys! Wild riding times in classic spots like Les Gets and good times cruising around in the Landship with all the sweet business that comes along with it!
Enjoy!
Joe, Ferg and Liam
Check back next week for part 3 which sees the crew head to Canada and the USA.
These guys are an inspiration! Not only do they absolutely destroy (often on 20mm less travel than your average dude), but they are always funny. always.
Unfortunately I had to stop watching as this is billed only for younger listeners, Dudes you should be ashamed of such ageism, please Dudes make Part 3 avaiable for all, as myself and Wee Jimmy Crankey are dying to see some more of your ass spanking antics.
Les Gets the weakest resort in the Portes du Soleil...I really don't know why so many people go there...seriously next time check out Morgins, Chatel, Champery or Crosets!
Hey Chief. we filmed at Morgins and Chatel a bit before in our past movie and videos and really like it there. This year when we were there filming I believe the other lifts hadn't opened yet, it was just Les gets and Morzine. We agree though there are loads of hidden gems outside of Les Gets and the Portes du Soliel! Any other sweet nearby spots we should test out next year?
Fair enough. Us seasonaires only ride Les Gets at the beginning of the season seeing as it is one of the first to open. If you guys come over to Chatel next year I'll show you guys the -1500m 20mins run down to Vionnaz (if you don't know it yet) and I also know some hidden tracks if you like steep, offcamber and loam
When I watch mountain bikes with bigger wheels, 27,5 / 29 ers, the wheel size looks so big, almost kind of goofy looking. Just not used to the wheel size change I guess...
can someone tell me how these young guys have the cash for nice bikes, nice RV and spending the summer riding? l could never afford that! l am just jealous. good gig if you can pull it off. more power to them. they seem like a bunch of wacky dudes. fun
