The Homecoming with Rocky Mountain Bikes – July 26
Sun Peaks, BC – Ride with one of the legends of freeride mountain biking at Sun Peaks Resort this summer. The Homecoming with Rocky Mountain Bikes happens Saturday, July 26 as Wade Simmons makes the trek to his hometown of Kamloops with Andrew Sherry, Jarrett Moore and Brett Tippie.
The inaugural Red Bull Rampage Champion, Wade Simmons, will be riding with YOU in the Sun Peaks Bike Park all day on Saturday, along with the rest of the team.
“I first rode with Wade Simmons back in ’94 and that ride made me change the way I looked at mountain biking forever,” comments Peter Creighton with Rocky Mountain Bicycles. “I am super stoked to be involved in letting someone else have that same experience.” And it’s worth it to show up with your Rocky Mountain Bike. If you have a Rocky Mountain Bike, it won’t cost you a penny to ride in the Bike Park on Saturday, July 26. Rocky Mountain Bike Owners will get a FREE Bike Park lift ticket on Saturday, just for being at The Homecoming. On Sunday, July 27, Rock Mountain Bike owners will get a two for one pass. The second rider does not need to own a Rocky Mountain Bike to take advantage of this offer. Both of these offers are not valid with Rocky Mountain Bike Rentals from Time to Ride.
On Saturday, Rocky Mountain Bicycles will be set up at the base area with their demo freeride and DH demo line. Discover how it feels to hammer down Kaboom on a Flatline, or flow through Steam Shovel on the Slayer SS. Riders demoing bikes will only be allowed one run to ensure everyone gets a chance to ride the Rocky Mountain Bikes.
At the demo centre we’ll be handing out a ton of prizes and also giving away a Flow bike. Anyone who owns a Rocky, purchases a day pass, or has a season pass can enter in the draw for the bike. The draw will take place at 4:00pm Saturday at the base of the Sunburst Express.

They mentioned his old accomplishment as winning the original Rampage so I chose to use an old shot as opposed to a Sun Peaks logo.
