It's hard to video yourself when your only camera is your cell phone. Samsung S4 is a great phone but I don't think it will make the vids they are probably wanting. GoPro's are crazy expensive. x2 on the wet trails and wanting a Scoob! My Supercharged Grand Prix just isn't cutting it for a MTB hauler.

Hope should do a limited edition production run of green Pro 2 hubs. I would love a set for my DJ, but is going to be hard to win this without a video camera or a decent place to ride that isn't a mud bog/buried in snow. I could probably put together an awesome 15 second crash compilation of me blowing berms and washing out on landings if I had a camera though.

I hit a point where I only had enough money for one or the other. I sold all my bike stuff and built an epic hardtail, and went into Subarus. Honestly its not much more to race cars and track day than it is to race bikes these days. I have a real job now, almost have things paid off. I think this summer I'll return to racing. I've been riding everyday, just can't justify the cost for a new bike. The manufacturers have gone crazy. I'll just whoop ass on a old/used DH rig that I can rebuild for a fraction of the cost.

Haha thats so true. I have been an auto tech my whole life though a machinist now. I still love building cars ( right now its a 59 ford truck ) but my scooby's have always been the best daily drivers. And yeah its outta control these days! I buy all my bikes used and have the same fun lol.

AMIRite!!! Yeah I'm thinking used Stinky/Entourage $1k, rebuild the suspension $300, fresh rubber $50, and go kick some ass against a guy riding a $10k bike. I would love the see the 59 Ford... my grandpa and my uncle rebuild cars, spent my youth in their shop.

The 2010 and up Subies are better then the prior years.
I have a 2007 Hawk eye wagon sitting in my garage with an infamous blown #4 piston. Costs 3k for a new bottom end. Too many other things in life to afford fixing it. Fun cars but you pay to play.

I had an 04 FXT that I just replaced the uppers, to find that it needed a bottom end build. Luckily I sold it to a mechanic for a good chunk of change and had the sense to get out of the older turbo market.
