Brett Tippie and Katie Holden show us around Mont Saint Anne World Champs on day 1 and then take us to Quebec City for the opening ceremonies.

Opening ceremonies took place in front of parliament in Quebec City and it was a heck of a show with the West Coast boys in attendance with the Flow Show - Baker, Vass and Mike. Pics by Ian Hylands:

 wow , just wow , i mean , i knew this was going to be great , but it's beyond what i expected.
cant belive that opening ceremony !...cant belive how dusty Sainte-Anne is !...and trust me ..it is bone dry there.
i most certainly cant belive i'm not there when it's less than 3 hours drive from were i live.
why , oh why didnt i plan my vacation better ??!!.
Velirium as been great since it's started , i have been there racing regional stuff for the past 2 week-ends ...now the final week ?...just plain awsom.
i know this is mostly DH but can you immaine Marie-Helene Prémont holding that flag at openening ceremony ?...she is from 5 minutes away from Saint-Anne , she was made there , this is her home and now she as a chance of winning the biggest race of the year (look more like the biggest race of MTB ever!!!) in front of the home crowd. (she came in second in Windham !)

 Thanks! I was getting jet lag just listening to the interviews at the bottom terminal! Great intro, looks like a fabulous opening! I'm looking forward to following the Worlds on Pinkbike.com..... Thanks, Radek, Aaron, Tippie, Katie H., terrific intro video!
