Hey man. I'm really pleased with it, as I've stated before, pretty much all the locations I ride are quite short (couple of mins at most) relatively smooth, with some features thrown in (Jumps, drops ect..) She's stable at speed, likes to leave the ground and handles hits well. I've never really covered any distance with her nor have I ever done any seated pedalling so I really couldn't tell you whether she's any good at that sort of thing. The best way I can think of describing the Rook is pure "Play bike"
Cheers, I haven't had a chance to weigh her yet, literally just finished the build, but judging just by picking her up she's no feather weight, but she's no barge either, I'll post the weight a.s.a.p.
looking nice, you got it built then, i take the headset was the right one in the end ?, you taped up the yellow bits on the frame ? looks smart !! weight not much from my 29.2lbs
Yeah man, I had the right one all along, I was simply given the wrong information. Thanks for your help, it instantly made sense! I like my rigs looking simple/clean and the yellow was too much with my stealth build, so I got a bit crafty with exterior vinyl. I wouldn't mind shedding a little weight off her but around 30lbs ain't too bad, pedals weigh a shed load so they will go I think.
Pretty much anything that doesn't involve too much pedalling (I'm allergic to that) Most of the spots I ride are short, flowie, jumpy trails that slope downwards (couple of mins long) on occasion I hit up some dirt jumps too.
i see you dont like to pedal much (lol).. anywho, really diggin this build.
