I think this is actually how God enters the mortal world. First he finds a really high mountain, then he shreds his way down, blinding everybody that sees him, finally he gives sight back to everybody he blinded so they can watch him in the World Cup.

I really like the way in which the sunlight bursts through into the foreground of this photo, providing real clarity to the style of the rider and they way in which he slays the boulder garden like a space marine. Helps me reflect own my own life and things that have gone wrong for me over these past few years. Sometimes tranquility is hard to find.....

Fantastic image, love the backlit dust and how the rider is blasting through it! one thing bugging me though, the focus is on the rock in the foreground and not the rider

Amazing shot, maybe I haven't seen much but I never saw something similar. It is a really original shot, well executed. Composition is interesting. My vote for POY! On the side note it is yet another proof how incredible the atmosphere of Hafjell is. Everyone should get their arses there one day in your life!
