Although drugs are bad and shit, I think people seem to just brush over the fact that the entire rest of the field were taking drugs as well. Just because he was taking drugs and won doesn't make him any worse than the guy who was taking drugs and came 2nd, the guy who was taking drugs who came 3rd, the guy who was taking drugs and came 4th etc. At that time errrbody was taking the performance enhancing drugs - so errrbody was as bad as each other and actually competing on a relatively even platform.
