hehe. Avalanche avalanche avalanche. Bought a DHS for my ellsworth for a bit more than a year ago now. Biggest mistake ever. The shock that was supposed to be "custom tuned" etc etc bla bla had practically no rebound damping what so ever. Was like riding on a shock with no oil. And since I had to pay shipment for them to fix it (from sweden to USA) it was cheaper for me to leave it at my LBS... But what was worst is that Craig Seekins didnt want to admit that they had made something wrong. He just kept on saying I was making things wrong. So, please, all you thinking of buying this overpriced shit. Think again, buy a fox Dhx instead...

amen. you may not have the exclusive-ness of an avy, but who cares about bling when you smoke past people riding a tried and true fox suspension set up.

you have had friends... I have had a DHS myself, and I'm the one not knowing what im talking about?

Can agree that the shock works great, once it was correctly tuned, but for that money you have to pay to get one of those, you shouldn't need to leave it in for tuning the first thing you do.

And again, Craig Seekins don't care about his customers. If you want to pay for that overpriced blingbling-thing, go ahead, but I sure wont, and I hope that many others who are concidering to buy one really thinks it over...

ok you pay a bit more for 'em, but it's not as if they arn't competetive, i guess you get stung on the postage. and as for craig seekins not admitting something? you just sent that piece of highly tuned, highly sensetive equipment around the world, is it possible that there might be a small amount of damage from the dickheads gettin paid buck fifty an hour to get it to you, or the change in pressure in an aircraft cargo hold ever so slightly modifying the settings? must i solve the whole worlds problems? on my birthday too....
