What 8+ years does to a pumptrack. You can barely even see the 180 berm in the foreground of the photo, or any of the rollers. Granted, it wasn't that big or built up to begin with. This is located on the east end of the abandoned field near the Library, close to the creek and Iron Horse trail. It used to be an elementary school years ago, but it got torn down. Plans for redevelopment have stalled, so perhaps some locals on PB would want to adopt it...

Just off of Oak Park Blvd in Pleasant Hill. About 1/2 a mile west of 680. Google Map this:
37° 56.018', -122° 4.014'
I think me and one other guy only put in 5-8 days worth of digging. It would probably take more to get it ridable.

Well hell I got tools but I would have to fined the time. Also who's property city, state, private. You can build it and make an awesome spot. But the first few times someone gets hurt or wrong people show up smokin on beauty bush the naborhood will complain. Then it's just a matter of time befor it's demoed again. Though if we go to the city council and ask for an open lot we could get leagle access and not have to rebuild it every few years

New "old" photos uploaded. See my album for pics from 2006. Totally agree with you alecD. Property is City owned. It would be great to bring that to PH City Council or Parks and Rec. I did what I could for the Lafayette Bike Park and even created a Google SketchUp 3D model of the proposed park. I've spoken at the public forum at the WC Parks, Rec, and Open Space Commission meetings for a bike park. I've made considerable efforts in the past to promote mtb/bmx, but after a while one gets burnt out on advocacy.

Local moto's used to ride in the fields. One old dude even turned it into his personal driving range. He walked back and forth between his green and tee so much that you used to be able to see his path from Google Earth.

it's been about 8 years since this pump track was rideable. Yeah, there's not much there now.
