Well, his downtube is dh rated and has very wide diameter. The DT is also hydroformed with a triangular taper at the bottom and covers more than half of the bb. The seat tube penetrates the downtube and is pressed against the bb. Then the yoke is cut from super thick tubing. Check out the thickness of the yoke on the right here www.pinkbike.com/photo/9235647 Then it is aluminum and certified heat treated to t6 so super stiff. It's one of the lightest frames at around 4.4 lbs
oooooh. Its just that it looks different then most dirtjump bikes. - in the BB area specifically where the stays are. Im assuming its like that for slamming the rear wheel? It looks awesome, not knocking it..
If your healed up you should make the trek to joyride willy!
Its way more work than other DJ's to be honest. its a 5 piece welded yoke vs stays welded right to the bb. In theory there is a ton of surface space covered with this and boxing which is pretty dang strong. A one piece seat stay is also a lot more work where others just cut a tube and weld this is bent in house and notched etc.
