That seems way more than 30m. You sure you did not miss another 'zero'? Smile
Very cool shot. As above - how was it taken?

Hi Ziggy! Yes, this is the Sunshine Coast.. there is actually a MTB park in this forest which we didn't get to ride but climbing the tower was a rush.

Wow man! Did you throw the GoPro in the air taking snapshots to get this one? lol

Hahaha.. kind of. The drone has very go pro like camera. We use for purposes of tower inspection.

Amazing bro! You should use it to make some cool videos Wink

True we should. We are beginner flyers and have already crashed 1 drone! we need more practice flying in open space before tackling forest and trees!

how did you get this pic?

Hi brother. Phantom vision by dji. Is a good tool for tower inspection. A drone flight is often quicker, cheaper and safer than climbing a tower and gives a good idea of work required.

Oh man. I have a scary story from my days climbing towers. Let's just say that safety standards have come a long way since those days. It was up in the infamous tar sands of Alberta. Too bad we couldn't hit a pub or something.

True!? We should meet up for an ale one of these days!

Yeah I travelled around western canada climbing power stacks. Some were so big that they had elevators on the inside! Others were all ladders and quite exposed. I'll post some pics if I can find some. My fear of heights decreased a bit but also increased a bit. Lol

I wasn't a fan either.. this was my first climb above 50m.. there was a scary zone but after about 50m the fear kind of goes away!
