Well I haven't been on the bike in a few weeks due to some crappy weather but I am 4 weeks out from my competition and so ready for a whole summer full of riding and good times after this long comp prep.

Yea you can take your ignorant comments elsewhere. Trust me I eat constantly, my grocery bills are insane, and I get a refeed day once a week where I probably could hands down eat more than your whole entire family could eat in one day. Muscle needs plenty of food to be maintained and last time I checked I have plenty of muscle, so you get the idea. Or you don't, I really couldn't give a f*ck Wink

Yo shouldnt you be posting else where besides pink bike?? Again with the dumb ass pics about your stupid bikini bullshit. This is a riding website!

And I still find it just as funny that you're so bothered by it Wink

Im far from bothered since my wife is a competitor in the INBA. You obviously think that everyone on this site is interested in your stupid workouts when the site is specifically for Mountain biking. You think that mountain biking is a good hobby and you think its cute to ride. Get a grip... many of the people on this site compete and train hard to do so.

Your assumptions are far from correct and I love mountain biking just as much as the next guy so get a grip, take a breath, and stop overreacting about some photo that you've let get you all hot headed for no absolute reason. I feel bad for your wife if you're the kind of person to get heated over something so small. There are more important things in life then starting internet debates.

Holy rage batman! This girl has got me motivated to lose weight lift harder and helped me get my riding strength up. Being lighter in total mass and stronger in the rest of my body is definitely helping. Plus im sure you don't lose your shït on every other picture of a fit girl on this site. If you don't like it dont look. Arggg. I want to rant more about how stupid your comment is. But you are killing my gym session.

FYI I am superman not batman.. thanks though and if it takes a skinny girl with abs that has a strict diet and exercise routine for it to motivate you I feel sorry for your lack of confidence in yourself. Youre right.. I dont lose my shit.. I lose it on just this girl because at the moment her pics always seem to cross my path and it seems that she is the only one that wants and needs attention from the numerous guys on this site. I suppose she could post on some other website like a non biking one and get criticized for her macros or some other thing. Tell me sean.. if you can find another woman on this site that posts about a bikini prep let me know. She says that she doesnt ride cuz of shitty weather... that sounds like a cop out... like saying youre not gonna go and lift because you cant find a place to park. Good riddens to you and her both.

I don't expect a reply because you have left. So this is for everyone else that doesn't bash on other people. For starters, I would rather be Batman, he has beaten Superman twice in the past. He uses his brain and he works hard for what he has. He also doesn't look down on others. As for riding in the rain... welcome to Canada in the spring, hypothermia is common. Especially for some of us that are lean, we don't have the fat to keep us warm. As for other women on here posting about their fitness goals... well they are probably afraid of people like you that talk down about being healthy and working hard. I am confident about myself, and I also like to push confidence not try belittle or suppress other if they don't see things my way. And I don't believe this woman has ever asked for attention. She posts in order to motivate. Last I looked Pinkbike was also posting tips about fitness, so we should ask them to stop that. We don't want people getting the wrong idea and thinking being in shape is good. And in the future follow everyone's moms saying. "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all." Especially when you come across the nice lady.

"Anything at all"... said it. Belittle no... criticize yes. Batman and his money can buy all the gadgets in the world. Id rather be born normal on one planet and be a god on another. Money doesnt make a man, nor does supernatural powers. If any character would be great it is the green latern. He was chosen for not having fear and he is just an average joe. Riding in the rain is amazing.. Riding in the mud is even better. Youre talking to a country man that was raised in the backwoods and bread for adrenaline. Being lean shouldnt make a difference in any aspect of life unless you are trying to be a conceited model. For example.. the guys that do metrx worlds strongest man.. are they lean? Is sam hill lean? Afraid... if you fear what other people think and for that matter are pursuing a competitive sport such as bikini competition then its the wrong one for you. The only motivaton I have after seeing this pic is to eat more cheeseburgers. Point is this is a mountain biking site, bcfong, go post on a site that is related to what you are doing.. oh and fyi.. judges dont like abs in bikini competitions and if youre pursuing figure youre far from it. Thanks

If you don't like what she is posting. Then report it to Pinkbike let them decide. Their are no rules for what can be posted on here. It's not offending anyone but you(still don't really have a good reason for it). You don't like it don't look.

Considering pinkbike is following me on ig where I post all of my fitness stuff I'm sure they really don't care.

funny if you look at his pics some are bike related ,for him it must be ok

He can eat his words because I obviously did something right if I took 2nd place out of 15 girls and have had a shit ton of new opportunities presented to me because of it. When it comes down to it all I'm trying to do is promote healthy living and pass on my passion to others in hopes that they too can make a lifestyle change and feel just as good as I do inside and out. I love mountain biking and I love all fitness and just because I want to show off my hard work in a tasteful manner instead of suggestively posing in front of a random bike in a bikini or holding some bike part in a suggestive manner while wearing a g string doesn't give anyone the right to put me on blast. At least I can ride bikes well unlike half the girls posing in front of those bikes in that other album they have on this site.

2nd place = first loser. Good job. Btw you ignorant lil girl.. you had to do nothing except eat right and lift 5lbs at the gym. You think it's sooo tough what you do when its actually quite easy. Its called focus and commitment to the meals you prepped and staying on track with your macros. My wife started at 190. Just because "pinkbike" follows you on ig doesn't mean it's the whole site. I'm sure you're friend that messaged me as a mod is the only one who cares to even follow you. You say you're a rider but most on this site aren't hobbyists like you. So keep on being that 2nd place contender. Have a nice day!

Yea okay bud. I lift weights and I lift heavy so don't go assuming I'm done weak "little girl".

 Some*

Mountain biking and body building compliment each other. If your not sitting on the bike you are using most of your upper body to "steer" the bike.
Oh by the way .Nice body!
I have a six pack too only its covered if fur!

haters gon' hate!!! is it coincidence that the most hateful comments always seem to come from the US? its probably all that red meat...

Really strong...what is your regime because it certainly worked.
  • 2 2
I do a lifting split 5 days a week where I lift heavy keeping everything 3 sets of about 8-10 reps. Monday legs, Tuesday shoulders and abs, Wednesday back, Thursday arms and abs, Friday chest, Sunday full body boot camp and then in addition I do 3 days of 30 mins hiit cardio and 3 days of low intensity steady state cardio. I'm on a cutting diet right now that consists of 44% protein, 32% fat, and 24% carbs with a high carb refeed/cheat day every Saturday.
  • 1 0
Probably were I'm going wrong...I try to do my abs everyday. Crunches, sits ups, etc., and not really concentrating on my diet although of late I have been cutting fat. I do have a rest day but maybe I should not work my abs so much.
  • 2 1
Yea its really not necessary. If you're training your muscle groups correctly you should be engaging your core at all times which will build that strength and create those muscles without even thinking about it and your abs just as any muscle require rest time do they can repair themselves. Diet is definitely key though. If your really interested in it I would recommend looking at the nutrition sticky in the forums on bodybuilding.com and also refer to the macro calculator on iifym.com I can't stress how much progress you'll see if you just tweak your diet a bit.
Sorry for the novel I just get way too excited trying to help people out with their fitness goals and such Razz

Thanks for the advice. My diet is my down fall really as I'm one of those people that will work out hard and then think I can pig out after workout as a reward. At the moment I would say I am 'dieting' but then I find it hard to workout because of lack of energy. I volunteer as a PT for a local charity so like you I am interested in helping people achieve their fitness goals it just I am not so good at achieving them myself.
  • 1 1
It usually takes a while to get used to a cut but if the lack of energy continues you're probably not eating enough of something or just not eating enough, period. Try upping your carbs a bit.

So when it comes to sets and reps...this is where I might be going wrong. For example I may do five sets of 25 stomach crunches etc.,. I dunno I really need to design myself a proper programme and look at my diet. Don't get me wrong I don't wanna become big but I do have a desire to become fitter and leaner without bulking up. Your weekly regime has made me rethink the way I train. I was a distance runner and that kept me trim but age and joint problems have made me unable to put in the miles I once did so I want to concentrate on gym stuff. Not only that I want to learn as much as I can to help my clients as they all want the same thing when I aske them about their goals...a six pack.

I can't stress how great of a resource bodybuilding.com is. I have learned everything I know from just networking with people at the gym, different trainers, websites etc and really just by trial and error. After a while you kind of see how your body responds to different methods and what works and what doesn't. You can follow me on instagram if you have that I post a lot of things on there more geared towards fitness. My user name is @baileyfongfitness feel free to follow.
