I just had this hunch. A hunch that the thicket of fog that was lapping against my window was there to stay and stay in the valley only. With no one out to play, I took matters into my own hands and swiftly headed up to the moors above the clouds with my camera, a tripod and a couple of triggers at hand. The inversion that lay below me was amazing, it's mystical hold caressing the valley sides. There was something smugly satisfying about heading back down into the dim mist, knowing that most people will have been thinking it's just another grim day up North.
