I've 2 chain on my road bike. Stand on the pedal and it ll jump in the right place if u done everything properly. This powerlock is suck. U'll be able to open it with a special thing: www.bikeman.com/images/stories/RepairTechInfo/TL7303-2.jpg

This one. It's suck because I use it to be able to open without a special key. There is no problem with my kmc, and sram 9 speed chain

10 speed link on a 10 speed chain. The new 10 speed links are somehow different from the old ones. SRAM says they are not reusable. once it's shut completely it can't be opened and closed again.

Rotate the chain so this link is on the top between the cassette and chainring. Then stamp down hard on the pedal and it should click into place. Won't come off easy but it'll be on.
