Never claimed on the last set, spin true as day one. These are stronger still.

Thought you cracked one? Or are these Ams?
  • 1 0
Yep. Cracked a dh rim,but believe me any other rim woulda exploded, rode another 2 days on it without an issue then enve replaced it for free.

Fair enough, thought id seen a pic from you of a cracked one. But nice on that front, kinda makes buying 1000quid rims easier to reason out haha.

They're a fantastic product mate, not cheap I know but I'm paying no where near that price.

Yeah, I may end up with a pair next year for my long term am bike

New rim is a work of art. Shame I won't be riding em for 4ish months.

Surely it's not a case of the 5 year warranty starts again when they send you a new set of rims?
  • 1 0
That would be ridiculous. They do offer lifetime crash replacement though,so if you break a rim after the 5 year period it's under half price to replace it.

Although saying that I'm to actually sure. I doubt it though.

I know it's not exactly the same but I know argos reset warranty if you get a new item. Doubt it for these though...

Yeah I said no instinctively but tbh I don't know, maybe they do,,kinda makes sense when you think about it. I'll ask my lbs tomorrow.

Yeah, technically it should have the same guarantee as a new rim as it is exactly that, but if you regularly broke them youd never need to buy rims again.
  • 1 0
That's the thing, how many before they start getting twitchy, you'd be unlucky to break more than one in regular non wc human use though.
  • 1 0
Exactly. 5 years from original purchase is still good going, you can't complain if it doesn't refresh

I'll never own the same bike for 5 years,to twitchy for new stuff.

I hear ya man, its just so damn expensive haha. Im gonna see how keeping a bike for a while goes starting next year, gonna be going all out on an am build that I can keep for at least 5 years

I have those same intentions with the new nomad,we'll see eh. Wink

Yeah haha. Doubt it will stick for me, ill get bored haha
