Welding is a lot easyer than you think. As long as the machine is set up right, you hear it crackling the right noise. Just practice on the same type of metal then once ur good to go have a bash at it. U will need to grind it down too. There is bound to be metal fabricators near you that would quickly tack it for u
I guess so, but tbh I'd rather just swap them for some boxxers or a slightly lighter fork, maybe an air fork. But atm I'm just looking, so I guess welding is still on the table. Cheers
Yeah I know! Bought the bike with it but the guy had no idea it was there... Apparently it's not a major concern, it's only from over tightening the pinch bolts. But I'll get some new forks like some boxxers or some newer 40's I guess
