Rim is probley still good, just need to replace some spokes and true it up. After looking at the pics I would say that you either bent the derailuer hanger or your low stop wasn't adjusted right and when you shifted into the lowest cog the derailuer went past it and into the spokes, either way its all fixable.

Of course the rim was still good, I ment trashed as in damaged, not un-repearable

Cost me a good 50$ for a few new spokes, straighten the rim, the new deraileur, and labour. The hanger was originally bent in a bike shop last year by a clumsy mechanic, but I had no picture proof so I had to pay myself.

hahaha yea get a new bike for sure, because those rims will snap so fast, i was screwing around on my really old POS Raleigh and folded the rims after a 180, pretty funny
