 have you seen the diference between beer's bike and smith's bike? check the rear triangle...maybe carbon vs alloy chainstay?

 I have ridden tons of 27.5's and work at a shop where we sell multiple 27.5 bikes a week and I keep coming back to 26... Just feels better and more natural
