Good thing about HR2 and minions, whether its a wet or dry track they stick like glue

Hmmm not sure how they'd fare on a DH rig. They're pretty narrow at 2.3" - you might be better off with the newer Maxxis tires. They're bigger at 2.3 than the WTB's.

My choices were High Roller 2 or these... got a better price on these for the pair.

Might go back to the Conti Trail Kings/Rubber Queens once the trails get dry and dusty again but let's see haha. So far im pretty happy with these. AND they're damn light, they go well with my rims

haha nope... I used to be on 2.4" 26ers. Clearance wasn't very good so riding in mud got my wheels stuck (Alam mo naman putik sa Pinas). Swapped over to 2.3" WTB Vigilantes - good clearance and good grip in wet conditions. Better than the Conti's IMO.
