Not too bad, black rims would help but I doubt you are really worried about the colour lol Bet it rides great with the vivid and the 55

Too much sag even at over 200 psi..... Running at like 35-40% sag. Frown

So are you going to replace it?

Personally I think the colors clash...but that's me. Great build spec though! Bet it rides great.

Only used it at the DH park yesterday. But it was amazing. Haven't ridden it up hills yet, so don't know how it will do there.

It's a great climber for the amount of travel. It just has issues if the build is outrageously heavy, or if the gearing is too high. What size ring do you have on there? I'm thinking of downsizing my 36t...but there might be pedal bob once I get down to 32 is what I'm thinking.

I have a 32t on with a 11-36t SLX cassette and Zee drivetrain. Should work good on hills. And does your Vivid blow through travel? I have mine at like 220PSI and still have like 40% sag or some outrageous sag like that.

Nope. Mine isn't as progressive as the dhx3 w/ boost valve (ran full boost always & a massive bottom out bumper from a RS shock). You gotta put in enough air to get it to 30% sag. I mean it should take up to 275PSI no problem. Not sure how much PSI I'm running, I can check when I get back into town. Don't forget to add enough compression to set your sag and stroke correctly...while the maestro means you can pedal with 0 clicks of compression, I run 3-4 most times just so that it doesn't have a weak, undamped stroke. If all else fails you might need to take out some volume spacers in the can...or put in a fresh shim stack. I put in fresh shims into my vivid coil for my last bike, and it made a world of difference. Don't know about shim stacks for the Vair though, it's a little harder to work with I assume.

Good to hear. I think I'm going to downsize to a 32. Short climbs are fine with 36 and I can get up most stuff...but long/overly steep stuff is a killer.

If you are still having problems with the vivid its because it is too high of a volume shock for this bike
