Do you think the rear fender is necessary? I tried it on my ride, but found it didnt do much rather than scratch my seat tube upon bottom out. Either way nice looking bike!

It definitely prevents major rock chips with the rocky trails here in Las Vegas. With a carbon frame, you gotta do whatever you can to avoid or prevent chips.
