Shall be a Future POD!
i like it. it's got a different background over all those shots with sunsets and mountian ranges and the photo it's self is of good quality. props man.
The photo is a HDR, so it has been photoshopped, the photographer takes 3 photos, one normal, the others with different exposure values, then the picture is merged to create a HDR, it gives a better dynamic range.
Still a great picture though

Yes, that is correct! I simply used Lightroom to get the three different exposure values, then combined them together in Photomatix. Its not true HDR because you dont get the same dynamic range value; however, you still get the effect.
im sorry to be the one who has to ask but i am dam sure that this is a repost considering i download most pods for my msn displaya nd ive had this one for about a year
This photo has never been POD before, feel free to take a look at my album, you will see all the photos that I have as POD.

damn, cool pic! I want to learn to do my pictures look like that! Is it difficult to do? You don't need to explain how u do it just say if it's difficult to make it look like a painting or not, if it's worth learning
Google for Photoshop tutorials... they're usually quite easy to follow yet can produce some impressive results. Definately worth learning if you have the time.
It's a little easier to do if you can shoot RAW, but if you don't then Lightroom is your best bet.
Look up HDR (High Dynamic Range) on google and check it out. Photoshop can combine shots with a built in script. You just have to remember to adjust your curves AFTER combining. Hours of fun.
This is a really good example of what you can get when you do HDR right. Good work.

wonder what insecurity you are a a victim of... the ingenious lies in the term, not the discovery...
Dont really like HDR-bike pics. Its really cool on things as cars and cities but this just looks to faked and unreal. Plus its kinda unsharp
totally sick pic
i like its background... great hang time but it looks a lil' photoshoped... even if it is i like this pic POD for sure

it looks amazing, the sky is awesome. I dont really care if its photoshopped, as long as its a real photo. CONGRATS!
It is cool, I just don't understand all the Photoshop concern....Photoshop is not a bad thing...it can artistically add many different themes to a photo (as someone said above, this one reminds me of the duotone color pallet used in the movie 300) For those of you saying it is a painting or something...he said he used Lightroom and Photomatrix, tweeking the original photo using HDR.
I think it is so funny that most rip Photoshop usage when editing photos and I am not talking about putting together mocked up, never really happened type photos. Do you know that 98% of printed graphical information is refined or tweeked using similar color-management software found in Photoshop.....trust me...it is an industry standard, probably ever photo in Decline and Bike mags has been adjusted from the original RAW camera shot (if it was digital)
