Im about to get these DHRs for front and rear too. Actually wanted to go with ST front and 3C MaxxGrip rear. What do you think? Is twice ST better for dry/mixed ground?

ST is better for wet rocks and roots. Not much difference on dry dirt.

Isnt the ST softer than 3C and wears faster?

Yes it wears faster, but I would rather have the performance than save $40.
I used a razor blade, but it would be easier done with the right tool (tread cutter)

Okay thanks ill try both ST and maybe switch to 3C if it wears to fast, cant afford several sets of tires a year as a student.
