If I bought a Stanton Switchback I could fit all my parts of my On-One to it, apart from a new headset...sounds like a plan. Or a trans-am. Or wait for the new Surge or Eccentric or Pig or get a Shan or Samurai 65. I believe Chromag are bringing out a new frame soon, a cheaper version of the Samurai 65 made in Taiwan, no idea when but they did mention it to me a while back. I just need to get the money saved instead of spending it. Sure I'll have a new frame by summer, I'll keep dreaming for now, not in rush though as that will give me time to check out the new 2015 frames.
Oh the new Chromag frame, cool man I can't remember if they told me the name of it or not, cheers for that. Yeah the new Surge Evo or Pig will sure be the best value at £350, probably looking to get something with a bolt thru rear axle next but the 2015 Surge Evo doesn't have one, which is a pitty and the 2015 Ragley frames have been delayed until Summer now.
Yeah I mean like a maxle type bolt thru axle, I know its not a deal breaker but just something I'd prefer. I'm surprised Chromag still use the standard type rear dropouts, but then I guess they must be upto the job else they wouldn't still be using them.
The Matter Slayride or Stanton Ti would be my money-no-object pics. The stantons don't have stealth dropper or big tire clearance advertised which not to be picky kind of disappoints me. I think I'm in line for a surge army green. Stay tuned!
Yeas true about the Stantons having no stealth dropper routing although I'm yet to buy a dropper as they don't appeal to me at the moment but worth having the routing I suppose in case I changed my mind. Also yeah that green Surge Evo is beauty of a frame, that is one nice colour scheme from NS bikes indeed, its very nice.
