LOve it !!!! I just got a Fuji Track Pro...was going for an Argon 18 but that can wait lol. Are you riding her fixed?

Those are both such sweet frames. Just that seatmasts can be a pain. I know cause my Giant's was a little short. Yup full fixed. Not drilled for brakes haha

I just put a Deda 120mm stem with compact drops, but I want to run a rear brake and my levers are to narrow, so need to find a 31.8 brake lever? I'm thinking of running Omniums or Sugino 75's but undecided yet? I'm running 165mm crank arms but may go big....175's !!! For street. Was your frame an import from Italy?

That sounds like a sweet setup. I've encountered the same issue with levers. A cx lever that goes on the flats normally works. Have you seen the new sugino 75s with a spindle? You should go for those but $$$$. 175s would be crazy! pedalstrikes everywhere. Marinoni is actually a canadian company but I got it used. They had these frames outsourced in china also but very good quality I've found.

I'll check a CX lever out...Haven't seen the new Suginos yet, but the two cranks were advised for hardcore duties. So do I stay 170mm max ?

If you are running single speed then pedal strikes are not a worry plus your frame should have a decently high bottom bracket as a track frame so you could get away with 175s for sure. Here are the cranks I'm talkign about. www.dolan-bikes.com/sugino-sg75dd.html

They are beautiful...but so expensive !! Have you tried Stronglight Track 2000 ? I had them on an Aventon and my Dolan, they were stiff. I may go that way with the Fuji as I can get new cranks and chainring £59 and the chainrings usually around £50 alone.

True. Those cranks look good too. Guess you can't really go wrong there.

Would you class the Omniums on the same level as the Stronglights?

I've never tried either but I'd guess the omniums to be stiffer. Less reliable with the gxp bb though.

The marinoni looks amazing, sweet rig man. I'm sold on my new bike project, I got in touch with Pepe and will get a steel Pista. I might also start looking into who would be interested to travel to the new track in the Toronto area. I'm not planning to ride mine on the streets that much, it will mostly serve as my trainer setup. Quick question sizing wise, do track frames should be the same size as usual road size or should it have a slightly shorter top tube ??? Thanks

Thank you. The pista is a killer frame too. I'm hoping to go to Milton Late February sometime. Should be great fun. I use mine on rollers mostly also but I have ridden it outside once. I think a shorter top tube is pretty normal. I feel more comfortable like that but I like loooots of drop.

I'll be heading to Toronto during the 6-9 of February but still don't have a proper bike. A 55cm top tube is my perfect size, the pista in stock size 52 and 54 c.to c. come with a 54cm and a 55cm top tube respectively but the head tube on the 52 is almost 20mm shorter, so the reach is pretty much the same as the size 54. The drop might be a bit much for me, I've never ridden something that aggressive before and pretty inclined of going with my regular size 54. Whenever I get the pista, I'd like to set transport so riders from Ottawa could head up to Milton once in a while. Have you gone already ??? Looks sick.

You could borrow my bike for the time you're down there. I won't be using it. I'd say go for the 54cm as well just for the good TT size and a more reasonable HT size. I haven't gone there yet but I certainly want to.
