These helmets are supposed to be thrown in the garbage after a crash such as this. Thats the only place this helmet belongs.

I disagree. I still think it's safe; which is why I continued to use the helmet for months after I cracked the plastic and feel fine selling it. I have posted pics of the crack and pics of the styrofoam underneath the padding so people can decide whether they want to buy it or not.
