Yo listen up here is a story, about a little guy who lives in a blue world. And all day all night, everything he sees is just blue, like him inside and outside.

hahaha... i like blue although i only currently have one bike with blue on it so thought i'd go a bit more towards the blue side of things on this one lol

Looking forward seeing the complete. I think the blue must look great with all the raw parts Smile

I'm just happy that it's not the 27th ALL BLACK build collage to pop up on my dash.

 @Mattin yeah it should tup

@Draggon lol yeah blacks boring i need some color in my life Smile

I think the full-black hype is a response to nearly all companies painting their bikes extremely flashy with way too many non-matching colors, ugly shapes and matching neon logos. Nearly every stock complete nowadays looks like its been colored by a 12 years old kid on mushrooms. Due to all those ugly over-flashy bikes im also rather on the side for keeping it safe, simple and clean. Adding one color to a black or raw bike looks awesome. Just dont like the bikes that look like parrots with all their crazy colors.

Looks like a sweet build plan, bud. Love the blue and raw. And running speeds with the narrow wide ring is a good idea imo. tup

yeah will probably run it ss until i can afford the gears tup

not a huge fan of that frame. looks like your building more of a trail / dj bike vs. a true slope bike.
  • 1 0
the pikes a dj 140mm that i hope to lower to 120, so building it as an flope/freeride bike really Smile

Dude if you are going to use gears on it then please go full guide.
  • 2 0
nah narrow wide and top guide is enough Razz
  • 1 0
If you are jumping it then it's not enough. Won't fall off the ring but chain slap will eat your chainstay alive. Also full guide looks 10x cooler
  • 1 0
meh I'll see but my cotics running the same set up and i take that over djs and down dh runs and there is only a bit of chain slap when on the dh runs but none on the djs

Chain guides are so last week. If you have ever this set up, you will never go back, and if someone tells you they have lost a chain, it not set up right, or they lie. It works so much better, no chain noise what so ever, gears work better, and its lighter because, chain is shorter, and the weight of the chain guide, also they do take some abuse. Lots of people, I know, have used this set up without no problems.

Eh I've run this setup before, I'm quite a hard rider though and much prefer the safety of a full guide. They do look better too, let's be honest.

  • 1 0
Damn, that's $500 CAD cheaper than I can get em here, pull the trigger. I loved mine, so gutted I had to sell it
  • 1 0
fair enough, when i get the funds I hope i can pull the trigger Smile
  • 1 0
Go for it man, that build would be so sick
  • 2 0
yeah hopefully but like stated it's a possible build Wink
  • 1 0
And is this a build that's actually going to happen?
  • 1 0
 yeah it's most probable Razz
  • 1 0

  • 1 0
