Finally I got a Magic Mary to try out. Cost about €45 or £33 all in with the postage costs from r2-Bike.de. My first order from them and it arrived in 5 days.
The tyre is 27.5×2.35 TrailStar compound Evo Snakeskin Tubeless Easy that replaces the old Tubeless Ready and manufacturers weight is 835grams, I'll weigh it on my scales though and post actual weight.
Yeah they had black Raceface Sixc 35 carbon bars a few months back for £80....you just have to keep checking as the prices go up and down daily sonetimes...
Tyre weighs 857grams on my scales. So 22 grams over manufacturers weight but as we all know with tyres the weight is rarely spot on, right?..(and yes I took it out of the box.. )
Great stuff...yep the prices on all the Schwalbe tyres are very good, Hans Dampf are even cheaper too. Not really checked out much else on there but I'm sure the prices in general are pretty good.
Another shop I'll be adding to bikediscount.de and bike24 that are safe to use....also bikecomponents.de are worth checking out, but haven't used them yet.
Yeah I guess it won't be as fast as my Hans Danpf up front and this Magic Mary is of the TrailStar compound which I've yet to ever use, only used Pacestar. I can feel by hand the rubber is bit softer.
I'm looking forward to trying it out and comparing it to my Pacestar Hans Dampf with Pacestar Rock Razor on the rear which by the way I can't see my self changing for a long time for a different tread pattern as I'm pretty happy with it.
Although those new Maxxis tyres look interesting...forget the names of them now...
