I wish they would make their new stems with lower stack height.

 40.64mm according to the Thomson website. Super tall compared to a lot of other stems on the market. It's cool that they're making a 40mm one now, but I feel like they should have redesigned the stem a little to match the current market trends.

 Yeah kinda strange they haven't come out with an updated stem yet. Its quite amazing how long this stem has been around and yet still manages to look good but it does need refreshing imo too, mainly around the top front and bar clamp area, I quite like the steerer clamp side of it still though..Maybe add one of those fancy clamping designs where you clamp the top bolts first, forget what you call that now..Also add some beefier looking bolts.
