mud aside. That is an impressive looking fork. Is it 180 mils at full travel? looks very stiff. Clay is nasty slippery stuff.

Yes, 180mm at full travel but can easily be adjusted to any length.
Maybe your lyric is the same?

The clay is nasty, I opened the BB yesterday and it was packed full of fudge!
hhaahahhha

A Lyric fork is rather dainty and flexy compared to the Durolux. I want dual crown. solid feel in a single crown fork.

The Durolux had never had any issues with flex or feeling weak! Only problem with the durolux is when the oil in the air chambers gets dirty, the oil can leak into the negative chamber along with the air, so you then need to overhaul it! Gumball seems to love his lyric but compared to his 55 he says it's not as plush and on drops it has a harshness in his wrist.

Very interesting axle system. And the fork looks amazing. I believe I complimented the bike before.

Thank you very much! This axle just pops out as you push on this mud filled button. ahhahh
