I need to know if this is a good bike for starting to dh and freeride for the price. I could get it from wheel world for 1099 dollars. Its travel is 8 in front 8 in rear. Comment Would be helpful.

hey man, ya this is a good bike for satrting downhill and freeride for that price. My friend really likes giants and he almost got one but he went with the dh team but the faiths are still great bikes especially for the price that you can get them at.
certain things could be upgraded on it depending on how you ride it but you should get it.

ya giants tend to be pretty good depends though does that have a super t or junior t because the junior t is alright but super t is way better but the worst thing to happen is in a couple years you get a new fork otherwise its a great bike and you probably wont need any more rear travel

i used to have the bike. it is a good bike but you will need to get som ethicker tires. and a chain guide. but it is a all around ok bike.

my friend has one and he likes it alot. the only bad thing are the brakes and the fork
