 Oh man...if I lived there I would visit them and talk to them, maybe leave an offering to them outta respect...I love this kinda stuff...

 Me too! I was the only one who stuck around to take some shots. My pals all scurried off in fear! I too love this kind of stuff and finding it along the trail and seeing its history is awesome. These graves are estimated to about 300-350 years old. From the edo period.

 Can you read what is writen on some of the grave stones?
Im used to seing grave stones like this on manicured lawns. This is so surreal looking.

 Yes, you can read the kanji. My friends said some are too old to understand meaning they are no longer in use or common use. Some of the stones though, the letters are very thin. You tell weather has been grind layers of the top.
