Of course they're saying that to consumers. But I remember a time when they denied the possibility of a 650b bike with 130mm of travel. Then a few months later the Solo was released. So they can't just release product information before it's officially announced. We all know how rumors travel on the internet.

Looks like a Transition Double with some different stickers to me.

completely different linkage and headtube design. not to mention a much longer shock and shock stroke and completely different geometry... but it's a slope bike so i gues that makes it the same

at a very quick glance, yes it doesn't look that different but if you look at it for more than 2 seconds it looks very different

I rode Glentress and Inners today.
EWS stuff from the tower at Glentress then along for a lap of the red XC and Inners.
Such a good day out on the hills in the sun
Think my top speed was around 40mph
