Selected by Matt Wragg - Many photographers pack their cameras up once the sun dips below the horizon, but the less popular blue hour that follows golden hour can produce dramatic results if you know how to work with the dark and the shadow. This is just stunning with the inversion below and the rider perfectly silhouetted against the sky.
I don't know why you'd prefer one to the other, but I'd prefer sunrise. That way, the sun would be coming up and my ride wouldn't be over. I once say a day like this...was magical and I really hope to catch a sky like it again.
