Joe was the same villain? That is cool. I haven't seen the original movies in so long that I barely remember them. I never got around to seeing beyond thunder dome.

Bronson is a very good film. It's pretty bizarre but Hardy does a great job of playing the character of a bat shit crazy a*shole.

Same actor, to be honest I wouldn't even bother with thunder dome. It did nothing special and there wasn't really any cars in in either. Ahh cool, I'll give Bronson a watch soon then!

Indeed it was, I'm going to see it again. Then after that, probably a few more times. Honestly one of the best reboot films of an old series ever, Tom Hardy fit the character of Max really well too.

I'd agree, I'm really glad it wasn't a re-make of on of the original films. That would have sucked! Tom Hardy was great, he's a good actor. Have you ever seen Bronson?

I'm glad it wasn't a remake too, but I'm so glad they put in the hundreds of small throwbacks to the original and The Road Warrior, such as seeing the Interceptor in Joe's garage being worked on by the half lifes(or whatever they're called) being the same as the first scene with the interceptor in the original. Also even the name was a throwback, I watched it again today and the first scene in Mad Max 1, the road they're chasing the night rider on is called "Anarchy Road" also, Joe is the original bad guy from the first movie, how cool is that haha! I'll give Bronson a watch soon, got US Netflix and that is on it, I found out about Tom Hardy through the Batman film he done haha.
