Glad you love it bro!! Its a late 2003. Still would take a 12 year old Balfa over most rigs out there for daily grind duties !! I tried to use as many spare parts as I had lying around the shop, didn't want to spend much considering my 4th Balfa in the herd amongst my others. But I scored the frame and fork this winter for cheap. But needed some JG love. I just tore the fork completely apart, flushed valving, lowers, replaced seals and bushings and fresh bel ray 7wt. I scored the sun ringle wheel set, crank set, seat, seat post, and grips for a super cheap price, the rest of the parts were spares in the shop. Over the past week, staying up late after work getting it built and dialed in. Handmade in Canada by true passionate craftsman, Viva la Balfa !!! And my last dear set of nokian XC tires...

 this is waht a like about a bike and a real fan like you..each part of the bike cost something realy affordable but a the end it s like spend a tons of money on some state of the art part......perfect choice for all part....i can t make better than your bike part....versus money.

 Thanks bro, I don't get to build em up as often as you, but I try when I can! My problem is I never seem to want to let any go...lol
