Dude I don't know about anybody else , but I absolutely LOVE to bike in pants and a T-shirt , I hate biking in shorts no matter how hot it is .

Thanks guys for all the comments so far. To answer your question sas to how this pic was acheived - it was taked with a canon 30d with off camera flash triggered via a ST-E2 transmitter. This is taken with a Sigma 10-20mm lens at the 10mm setting. SLow-ish shutter speed and second curtain sync make for a nice motion blurred background while "pulling" the rider out of the frame with the flash.

Not photoshopped, just a well taken picture. I really hate photoshop, kind of makes everyone superstitious. This picture really doesn't look at all photoshopped to me.

when i was last there, i asked a man from the forestry commision about this. He said that they were checking the areas to ensure that they werent unsafe e.g. to many trees close by, poorly built jumps etc. anything they thing is unsafe they are going to destroy. This was the reason for the downhill section and the north shore going. I heard it has only come about because someone had a acident and tried to claim, my theory is ,people know what there doing, if they cant accept when they crash then they shouldnt attempt it. as kool as this pic looks i dont think it should be POD, A POD should be stunning, this is just some dude doin a small table off a small jump and he just left the sutter open a little long. boo hiss, thats nothin

if you follow the bike with the camera instead of holding it still when you take the shot you can get an effect like that, weather its photoshopped or not i like it
