hes cedric, he probably hammers his xc bike more than most of us do our hardcore freeride/ dh rigs

look at the size of the frame, the size of Cedric and then tell me it is a XC bike. It is a Meta 4x with a different wheel for the rollers.

yes, but he does have the marzochhi costa xc forks on. Therefore, indicating that it could well be an xc rig. It is his 4x rig though, but why the xc forks? (obv. for the light weight, but it must be fairly weak.....)

It is indeed his Meta 4x bike (his slalom/mountain cross racing bike). Notice that there is no front derailleur, evident from the lack of a shifter on the left side. The reason he has the Corsa fork on there is mainly because of its featherlight weight. People like Cedric can run such light forks because they have mad flow. They don't even need a 20mm axle or 4" of travel.

dude thats his bike for slaloms and maybe some 4x he rode it today at slaloms at sea otter
