Nice one fella.
Screwed for the time being because of the stirches in the rear of my meniscus, very little movement for a bit. Start rehab next week apparently, so just keeping the old calf stretched where possible.
it's a pain in the ass, ended up with a longer road to recovery than expected because my surgeon managed to stitch up the cartilidge (which is a good thing) rather than shaving it.
Ouch! Tore mine, same knee also...but was able to get by just having it "scoped", but was still down for a couple 'o months...2 words...Percoset and Pinkbike!
That's the plan bro.
Loads of physio and gym work for the next 6 months, once I get past this first few weeks.
Glad your injury and recovery went well fella
had mine done about 8 years ago including the meniscus. One piece of advice, take the time that the professionals tell you that you need. I made the mistake of thinking I knew best as all seemed ok 3 months afterwards. Short story is I done it again playing football, needed another surgery and now just isn't right.
I hear you fella, my mate had his done not that long ago, he's a DH addict and got back out on the bike after 2 or 3 months and snapped it straight away!
I'm dying to grace a footy field again, even if it is just for a game of 6-s-side or something. So I will be doing it right :-)
Plus I have trip to Morzine to look forward to next June, still reading reviews about the Solid Strike, can't make my mind up haha
I guess you're hurting but that's no reason to be wearing ankle socks.
