You know they make iscg adapter plates that go in with the bb right? Anyways a quick Google search will find that. A monster t for 120? $ ???? Want to introduce me to the seller? Lol.
I have 3 bb7's and I ride my 1999 bb7 uphill alot it's not that bad.
If you look where the shock mounts behind the bb, there should be 2 bolts right. one is connected to the shock and the other is to help hold the lower pulley wheel. I have a lower pulley chain guide i can attach to the bb and then bolt it to one of the bolts to prevent any slip, while keeping the lower pulley because my arm for it snapped in two.
It all came down to the money. My rear hub went, the rims dented and cracked, my dorado's I wanted to put on need seals and oil. I was planning on putting a truvativ hammerschmidt but this year doesn't have the necessary ISCG 03 mounts so I originally was going to put a chain guide with ISCG 03 slot and bolt it together with the guide while attaching it to the BB and to the arm for the pulley behind the crank. I might still do that, but I'm considering buyin mosnter T's that's local for $120.
I still love the bike, but I don't get shuttled to my local trails, I have to bike half way around the mountain then up quite a ways.
