 I don't think so. It is on the Columbia and very integral to power supply over there. So Far the Elwah river dam has been the largest dam removal project in the US. and its very interesting as I have friends that surf the mouth regularly. I asked them what they thought it would do to the break since it opened up the mouth so much and released so much sediment essentially changing the dynamics of the wave. I think only time will tell about that but there are really cool before and after shots of the whole process on line if you search the Elwah. very interesting stuff. There are Salmon that are going back into the Elwah now after decades of not hatching from there... which is an interesting phenomenon since they obviously haven't come from there directly but must have it programmed into their DNA by past generations.

 There was a cool documentary on the Elwah. My sister works in Resource management up in MT, so I've been able to hear about many of our local issues. and growin up in MT, I was familiar with the Columbia system... So much power...
