Unfortunately, you always lose the depth in pictures or video and they always look worse from the top. There are a couple sections on the trail systems I hit the Canmore through the summer called the Devonian Drop, Coal Chutes and the Laundry Chutes. They look so easy in pictures and videos, but they're just plain nasty in person. DD, is just steep and very tight for cornering the other two are steep, rooty, rocky messes.

 right thats what i always do. If u did go inside you would go right over the berm because of the speed you come in with. That berm is small and that corner is sharp already.

 Yeah, This is way harder then it looks.
