When my stealth fork stickers with "orange hints" finally arrive, and I drop the seat a little more, it'll be even faster. Big Grin

i have a feeling that chain is abit short

@viatch All part of the tweakage. I underestimated the chain growth on this frame compared to my old Demo. The problem is that the chain is super slack on the 11T, so it has one more link now and there'll be no big drops in the top 3 gears Wink

personally i set mine on the lowest gear and fully compress it making sure theres at least some movement on the derailer, so ill just ride hakuna matata.

Originally I just set it so that it was maxed out in the largest cog (25T), but then I took the spring off and checked it at full travel. Too tight Frown When the chain's good/safe at full compression its slack as fook in the 11T, which is where I spend 95% of the time pedalling. The compromise seemed to be between tension in the 11T and just not going banzai in the 25T, or using a med cage rear mech - but in the end I just pulled a couple of 10 speed Ultegra cassettes I have kicking around apart and rebuilt them as a 7 speed 11-21T with some spacers on the freehub. Works a treat now, with no compromises, and a better gear spread too. Ghetto 10 speed X01 to 7 speed conversion Wink
