the Demo is a hucking bike for general freeride/recreational DH and the V10 is more of a race specific DH machine.

i have a qestion, what's the big difference between a downhill and freeride bike, is it all in the compontents or is there a geometry change between the 2 types of bikes?

the BB is really high on a demo so i would get the v10 for racing or just riding DH in general. but for North Shore the demo will be better suited for the slower speeds u do. As a racer i'd go for the V10 but the price does make u wanna run for cover!!

Put it like this,
If you bought a Demo 8 and then saw someone with a 08 v-10, you'd look at it and think, shit man I could have had one of them. But if you buy a V-10 and someone with a Demo8 walks past, would you be jealous? I think not.
