I wouldn't, by the looks of it, it has a manitou 4 way swinger. There not very good, and usually break under hard fr/dh riding. But if ur a xc rider and ur gonna be hitting the occasional bike i don't see why not though. But the frame is very good with the right components.
Think about what sort of riding you do and then see which bike is really best suited for you.

So if u wanna do jumps and medium dh/fr that will also get u up the hills, get a 5-6inch travel bike.
For full blown dh/fr get a 7+inch travel bike but this won't get u up a hill with ease.
Just xc on ur local trail and hitting that occasion 1ft drop 4-5inch travel frame and this will be very easy to get up a hill with.
