Good riding bro...I need a kick up the arse as I've slacked right off. I'll get the go pro going when this salsa is done in the next week or so. That Giant still reminds me of the Niner front triangle.

Very good call on the niner bro. I agree . Really happy with the bike. Looks great and is so tough for a 150mm bike . I can't wait to see some go pro from you. Some of the best laughs I have had are from you. We are old fellows now bro but we can still turn out a good ride

Yeah nice weather but tonight it will be freezing with a low of 16* lol. Got a bit fast and loose for my skill level today but good to survive

For a contrast we are having a 20deg summer in da UK Smile
Non of that matters anyway as soon as you are rolling on two wheels.

Yeah pretty lucky mate . Weather has been great, always is in the tropics until it rains all summer . Bike is rad buddy. Never had a bike that I have not changed anything when I got it. All I've done is tubeless and a small stem. Bike is brilliant thanks

@samjam: great when all is as it should be! short travel 29er next year for me, makes so much sense
  • 1 0
@topsedit: totally agree. I had a 29er trance up until November last year . I did XC races on it, DH runs and mega trail rides. I snapped the frame and decided to go for a 27.5 for our new local trails. But I think a 29er is still the best platform. Short travel feels like a 10" with the big wheels. Not to mention they corner so well. What bike are you getting?

@samjam: agreed, it pains me to admit it,really tried to resist the change, but 29er is where its at currently (for us anyway ha). have 650b and 26, ridden enough to know exactly what i want and for where/how i ride, so is based on factual evidence .. serious kit 29er,Transition Smuggler 'or' a really sorted 29er hardtail with 650b+ capability (future proofing etc).

And running better than she looks. Kept her off the gnar today just flow trails and climbs. Took 10 sec off a segment I have been trying to get for about a month. Not bad for a 1.3km trail then I did it again lol strange hey? My top speed on this trail is 34kmh but got up to 44 . Scared shit out of myself
