Yes. I toured alone. On this day, I had stopped by for a few days in Salida Colorado to visit a friend I'd gone to high school with in Japan (he grew up in Nagoya). I took the bags off and we did a nice dual sport ride. So much fun and full body workout to ride this up steep and rocky mining roads from a bygone era... notice how clean the bike is!

 Yes, I understand how awesome the bike feels when you take all the gear off for a good rip on a challenging section of trail! We got to do this today as we befriended some travellers in a 4wd who kindly offered to carry our gear out of the national park in exchange for a nice meal at the pub!
