 At the risk of being boring, why don't you just glue it?
It's quick, easy, cheap, and it works.

 Did it but it didn't hold on, the bottom is much thicker than the tube and the surface in contact with the shim i made from two seatposts was minimal. I appreciate all the help and sugestion! Thanx !)

 @brigand: So, make a better fitting shim with more contact surface Wink
The right glue might also help.
Ask our young friend, he once got the explanation how to bond stuff.

 @Mr-Magura: The shim was not the problem, the frame design was, he did help me the first time. I'll ask him to help me with soldering, he is finishing the welding course.

 @brigand: Can you post a pic of the issue?
  • 1 0
 @Mr-Magura: only one i have, the lower part is thicker at the top and goes thinner after 5-6mm - not enough for epoxy to hold on.

 @brigand: And no chance to bond it on the inside?
  • 1 0
 @Mr-Magura: Tried it and the surface in contact was not sufficient!

 @brigand: Then try making shim, and use the solder. That will work, but takes more effort.

 Its still cracked?
That sucks man!

 I suck at soldering, hahahaha Smile Going to give it another go Smile

 @brigand: I hope it works!

 reborn? Smile

 I was riding it while it was cracked the whole time, but nothing aggressively Smile

 could you not weld a gusset or 2 round the area?
  • 1 0
 @iffy: I'm going to make a gusset to keep the melted rods from flowing off the frame - which happened the first time - and make a big fat weld! Big Grin

 @brigand: you need to anneal it after welding buddy.. www.technologystudent.com/equip1/heat3.htm

 @baggyferret: then sprinkle some of this on it. www.wikihow.com/Make-Your-Own-Holy-Water

 @baggyferret: it's actualy soldering, the rod melts at 398°C Smile

 @brigand: where the alloy has cracked will need annealing to 'reset' the molecules, to stop it from cracking in same area Smile
  • 1 0
 @baggyferret: it cracked right in the middle of the weld all arround it!
  • 1 0
 @brigand: can you get a bit of seatpost or something down there to bridge the weld inside?
  • 1 0
 @iffy: lol lol lol you can't get better than that!
  • 1 0
 @iffy: Done that already! Smile
